Dr. Vladimir Marjanski

Born in 1977 in Zrenjanin. He attended the elementary school “Miloje Čiplić” from 1984 to 1992. He graduated from the gymnasium “Todor Dukin” in Bečej in 1996. He enrolled in the Faculty of Law in Novi Sad in 1996. He graduated from the Faculty of Law in Novi Sad in 2002.

Dr. Vladimir MarjanskiHe worked as a judicial trainee at the Municipal Court in Novi Bečej. He was appointed as an assistant trainee in June 2003. In December 2006, he defended his master's thesis “The Legal Nature of the Insurance Contract”. He was elected as an assistant at the Faculty of Law in Novi Sad in 2008. He obtained the title of Doctor of Legal Sciences at the Faculty of Law in Novi Sad in 2010, defending his doctoral dissertation “Public Offering of Securities”.

Stays abroad:
Institute “Asser College Europe” in The Hague – Netherlands (2006) and Karl Franz University in Graz (2008).

He is the secretary of the Department of Commercial Law and the Center for Publishing Activities of the Faculty of Law in Novi Sad.

He is the author of more than 10 scientific and professional papers, and is currently writing the monograph “Insurance Law – Serbia” for the International Encyclopedia of Law, published by Kluwer Law International.
