Dr. Vajs Bela

Dr. Vajs Bela was born in 1979 in Zrenjanin. He completed elementary school in 1994 at "Milоје Čiplić" Elementary School in Novi Bečej, where he was awarded the Vuk's Diploma and was a class valedictorian. In 1998, he graduated from the Nikola Tesla Vocational and Technical School in Zrenjanin, specializing in automation, also receiving a Vuk's Diploma for outstanding achievement.

Dr. Vajs BelaDuring the academic year 1998/99, he studied at the Balázs Institute on the mathematical-physics track. In 2005, he earned a degree in electrical engineering from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics at the University of Technical and Economic Sciences in Budapest, followed by a diploma in biomedical engineering in 2008. From 2005 to 2008, he was a doctoral student at the Interdisciplinary Technical Doctoral School at the Faculty of Information Technology, "Péter Pázmány" Catholic University. In 2007, he was a visiting researcher at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University, Institute for Applied Physics. From 2008 to 2010, he served as an assistant at the Faculty of Information Technology, "Péter Pázmány" Catholic University.

He defended his doctoral dissertation in 2010 with the highest honors ('summa cum laude'). Since 2010, he has been a research fellow at the Neuro-Infobionics Group of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, "Péter Pázmány" Catholic University, and Semmelweis University. His research focuses on the analysis of physiological and pathological brain activities, their mathematical modeling, and the application of artificial intelligence methods in brain research.
